I have today received some info via a friend of Win & Bobs

no luck with finding Tilly...Bob and Win went back to look for her and took a group of people that offered to help, with them....they searched for a week but no luck...I think they are going back again nearer the summer. They put up loads of posters and went into schools etc so maybe someone might still find her

Hello Everyone .
So sorry that I have not acknowledged any of the comments left in regards to our Tilly ,(who I am afraid to say is still missing ) but we have been going through a very bad patch with sickness ,bereavements of friends, and PC problems ect.
but I would just like once again to say a very big thank you in appreciation for all the comments left  in regards to our Tilly ,every single one helped us to cope with the loss.
We have talk about getting another Tortoise but feel that we would not be able to give it the same love and attention it should have, due to the fact that Tilly is still missing .
Regards to all

So sorry you havent found Tilly but  another tortoise would be very lucky indeed to have such caring and devoted owners and if you dont have one then that same tortoise may have really bad owners. Its a  repayment to another from what one creature can bring to someones life.  Chris

Hello Everybody
Still no sign of our poor little Tilly and we are still living in hope that one day we Will hear that she is safe .
But we  hope that you will all be pleased to hear that at long last we decided to buy a young Tortoise (Shelly)and give it the same love and attention that we gave to our Tilly.
We have only had her for a week but she has already filled a void that I  have felt for the last 18 months.
We was very fortunate that when we went to collect her the owners (a lovely couple ) would not except the payment as all they wanted was for her to go to a loving home .

So Justine,  We would like  to donate £100  to Alfies Lost Dogs in our sincere appreciation
for the help and messages we received when we lost our Tilly.
Justine please let me know where to send it .

Also because of a bad computer crash I have lost contact with a couple of friends I meet on the site (cannot remember the names ) but if they read this please contact me .

              Regards Bob and Win Christie
