What sad people if all they can do is play cruel tricks. I'll be keeping everything crossed that she's found safe and well in the spring. Chris

Latest update on Tilly... Got an email from Bob, he received the following email a few days ago: Quote: Dear Friend, I am Kathaleen Hudson, I found your pet. whats your name and how do we make contact for the pick up. Thank you Sadly it turned out to be a cruel hoax. What sort of person does that?? He's not going to give up hope though, will keep you all posted with any future updates. Am so sorry that there are such evil cruel people around, but as they sent it be email, I would be evil back & send them the worse computer virus I could find. Do hope that 'Kathaleen Hudson' (if that is the true name) has the most lousiest of life possible. Sorry but it makes me so angry. I do hope that Tilly is tucked up safe & well somewhere. XX

Hello everybody, Just a quick note to jog your memory re our poor little Tilly, My Wife and I who are retired pensioners are once again making a desperate appeal to try to find our beloved tortoise Tilly who has been our pet for over 20 years . Tilly was very ill when we got her and the vet suggested to put her to sleep but we decided to try to save her .and we hand reared her(tube feeding ect) back to full health which created a wonderful bond between Tilly and my wife Win.Last September we spent a week at a lovely farm in LLANDYFRYDOG PARC and unfortunatly Tilly went missing on 15th September 2006 and has not been seen since.we are going back to the farm on the 31th March hoping that Tilly will be out of hiberation . We are determined to find her safe and well ,so we can take her back home where she belongs. We are still missing her so much even after all this time and think about her every day . We will be distributing leaflets(kindly made by Layla bud ) ect again around the area to Schools/Shops/Houses/Farms/Vets ect in the faint hope that someone spots her . There are two young woman from Plymouth who heard about our plight on the internet and are taking the holidays at the same time to help us look for Tilly , Will keep forum informed of any developements. Thanks to everybody who has shown concern Regards Bob and Win Christie.

I've been thinking of Tilly coming out of hibernation the last few days. We had a tortoise when I was young but only remember that they come out in the spring sometime.
I hope you have the best holiday possible and are able to bring Tilly home with you. It's very nice of the young ladies to help you search. Good luck, I hope you find her.

Wishing you well and hoping that you find Tilly safe and well, good luck with your search for her and well done to the other people who will be helping you look for her. If there is anything that we can do then please let us know, it will be worth contacting the vets etc in the area again as they possibly might have thought that she had been found, please let us know how you get on.
Lots of Love Karen
Come home safely Tilly.

I too have been wondering about when Tilly would be due to come out of hibernation. I wish you and your wife the very best of holidays and pray that Tilly is out and about just waiting for you to find her.

Hello again everybody. Just a small letter to say that our search for our poor little Tilly was unsuccessful ,but hopfully the 300+ posters ect will help to find her. It was really nice to meet the two lovely young ladys from plymouth, who were really helpful in our fruitless search for Tilly and the help they gave will always be appreciated by Win and me. We are just hoping now that we will get a call in the future saying Tilly has been found (fingers crossed ) Once again a very sincere thank you to all at Alfies for the comment sent regarding Tilly they really did help . Will keep in touch , Bob and Win xxx PS The hunt for Tilly was even on Granada TV.

Sorry to hear that you didn't find Tilly. I hope the posters you've displayed work and that someone finds her and contacts you.
Tilly must be quite famous in that area by now.
