2 x yorkie sisters elderley- Essex

Dear All,

Bella and Bonnie are two 12-year-old Yorkie X sisters who are currently in the care of Friends of the Animals and are in a Foster Home in Essex . They have never been apart, so are looking for a new home or long term foster home together.

Bella and Bonnie lived with a married couple and the lady’s brother. Tragically, in the last few months all three have died, with the brother being the last. The girls were put in kennels, and although the owner of the kennels wanted to keep them, this sadly didn’t work out as she has two German Shepherds and works long hours.

Poor Bella and Bonnie must be very sad and confused about what has happened to them. They have just lost their beloved owners and everything they have known. As they are not used to being left, they can get a bit vocal when on their own at the moment. They therefore need a new owner who is at home most of the time, and who can help them feel safe and secure again.

Both girls have recently visited the vet for a health check. Bella has a grade 1 heart murmur and has had a dental (three teeth had to be removed). Bella has a grade 4 heart murmur, and although her teeth do have some tartar, the vet feels they are not bad enough to warrant giving her an anesthetic.

They are both spayed and vaccinated, and are otherwise fit little dogs that could live to a very old age. Medication may be needed later, but at the moment both are fine without.

Bonnie and Bella really need a home where there is someone around all of the times as the pair do get very anxious and upset which leads to them howling and crying. This MAY be able to be worked on once they are settled.

Bella and Bonnie can be homed anywhere in the UK.
