BOB IS A BLACK AND WHITE WORKING BORDER COLLIE, 8/9 YEARS OLD. WENT MISSING MID AFTERNOON ON MONDAY 2ND OCTOBER FROM A FARM IN HAMPTON LOADE, CHELMARSH, NEAR BRIDGNORTH, SHROPSHIRE, WV16. NO SIGHTINGS SINCE. HIS OWNERS CAN BE CONTACTED ON 01746 861487. Poster will be on site shortly.
This is apparently the 3rd dog in the area to go missing (all on a Monday) in the last few months. I'm waiting for details of the other two. All I know at the moment is that they both belonged to the same owner and were a GSD and Border terrier, but stolen at different times. There have been a couple of suspicious vehicles in the area recently; one, a Transit pick-up, parked in a lane that only leads to a couple of farms. We have a partial registration number of the Transit. The other one was a smaller van and was seen parked for a length of time in two different places.

I forgot to ask if he was chipped Karen. As he's a working dog, he's probably not but I've printed some posters for the owner as she's not on the internet, so I'll ask when I take them over. Chris

Went to see owner today to take some posters. Still no news. Bob was wearing a collar with name-tag but is not chipped. Chris

There's been a possible sighting of Bob about 10 miles (as the crow flies) from home. The couple who saw the dog tried to catch him but he ran off. Owner than went to search but couldn't find him. She's left posters with people in the area but there's a lot of farm land which runs either side of a by-pass. Will be going over to have a look myself tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Chris

Spoke to Bob's owner this morning and there have been more sightings in the area (hope it's Bob). I went over but didn't see any sign of him. His owner went over later with a number of helpers. I've just spoken to her again and she didn't see any sign of him but handed out more posters. Chris

It turns out that some of the sightings were another dog. Not sure if this is the same dog as the first sighting though. Been over there again today but no sign of him. I'm hoping, if the first sighting was Bob, that he's on his way home. He would only have to follow the path of the river. Chris
