Sally is 14 and was lost near Wragby Lincolnshire early on the morning of 4 August. She has arthritis and needs rimadyl daily. Please help us find her

Sally is 14 and has arthritis. She went missing early on Monday 4 August 2008 from our home at Brown Cow Farm, Rand. She is unlikely to have gone far because of her age and now we are worried that someone has hit her with a car or taken her thinking she is a stray. She is micro chipped and much loved and desperately missed. We hope someone might have information about her even if it is not good news we are just desperate to know what has happened to her.

Have you tried putting some scent down it might help and hey if it works. It worked for a couple who lost their gs so worth a try.

Thanks for keeping in touch. No we haven't found her yet but we did have a couple of leads yesterday after a week of absolutely nothing. 2 people reckoned they had seen Sal, or at least a black dog like her, in and around Wragby yesterday. The first was a girl walking her dog on the outskirts of the village and I think if it had just been her I would have remained a bit sceptical but actually someone else rang to say she had been seen around the same time, and then when we were all out combing the area (until dark) a dog walker thought she had seen Sal about 10 minutes earlier along the Bardney road. So........ cautious optimism! I've been out again since first thing this morning and will go out again later around the time she was first seen. The way I look at it, if it isn't Sally then there is another lost dog out there and I can at least find it.
So fingers crossed, with the amount of folk looking for her (including the dustbin men and posties) if she is there we will find her
