Hi Chris Thank you for all your help. Although the most recent sightings have been in Leighton Buzzard in King Street and the water meadow opposite the canal - opposite the Wyvern Shipping Company, the last possible sighting was Thursday, 21st August. We have also heard that there is a man who appears to be a regular dog walker in these areas has had a dog that could be Liam following him - he has tried without success to get the dog. We don't know who this man is. When we visited the area today a staff member at the Wyvern Shipping Company told us that a man who lives on a wooden boat moored near Leighton lock regularly walks his dog in the area we went to this boat. A neighbour on the next broad beam boat said the man was out. He took some of our leaflets for himself and to give to other people who live on boats in the area, including the man who walks his dog in the area where a dog that could be Liam has been seen. If there are any more possible sightings in this area, I would think a dog trap would be useful. Once again, thanks for your help. Kind Regards Cliff and Val Goodman

Hi Mandy
Thanks for your e-mail. Sadly we still havn't got Liam back. He went missing from our narrow boat 28 July as we were passing through Milton Keynes. The last possible sighting was 21 August near the canal in Leighton Buzzard.as he appeared to be keping near the canal, in addition to sending the doglost posters to vets, kennels, dog wardens in Bucks, Beds, Herts, Northants we gave posters to boat clubs, boat yards, mooring wardens, canalside pubs. Its possible that someone has given him a home believing him to be abandoned. (his I/D tag may have come of) Although he's a lurcher, he's 8 years old and neutered, so probably not of interest to travellers.
We still think about him every day but have had to get back to our normal lives with our other dogs.
Although we can still pick up e-mails on hazery@talk21.com - the address you used, we now have a new address that we used for this and will use for future e-mails. This is: yeland@ntlworld.com
Best Regards
Cliff & Val Goodman

Hello Chris,
Thanks for your e-mail with link to found dog. Val and I looked at the photo. This was a good full body photo so we could see straight away that it wasn't Liam. Although a rough coated grey lurcher with same shape head as Liam, this dog has black legs and other small patches of black. Liam has silver grey legs with clearly defined white paws and white areas on body.
The collar that this dog was wearing when found was different to the one Liam was wearing, although a collar can't be regarded as a definate identifying feature because of course the collar could easily have been changed at some stage.
Thanks for letting us know about this one. We are always prepared to travel to check out a dog if a photo and talking to the dog rescue, kennel or local authority indicates that there is a chance it could be Liam.
Regarding our e-mail address, we can still pick up new messages on our old address - hazery@talk21.com however we now have a new address - yeland@ntlworld.com which is the one we now use.
Kind Regards,
Cliff Goodman
