Area Missing: Littleborough/Rochdale/Todmorden Lancashire Missing Since: 16 August 2008
Ted, a 4 year old medium sized neutered cross breed went missing on Saturday afternoon. He lives near the moors and could either go towards Rochdale or head the other way into West Yorkshire, so could easily be in Todmorden/Hebden Bridge or further. He is a fit and active dog, but is a country lad and isn't a fan of towns. He is Ginger and white with short smooth fur and 2 small scratches on his nose. He is desperately missed by his family and our other dog who is pining for him. Any information would be greatly received, there is a reward. Ted's microchip has slipped to off centre so if you find a dog that looks like Ted, please scan him carefully.

Hello there, You have our dog Ted in your missing mongrels section, (I think 4th from top). Ted has been spotted this lunchtime (Friday 17th Oct), alongside the M62 Junction 20 (Rochdale), before heading off into the fields and heading towards Tandle Hill Country Park. From this location, Ted can get to Castleton on the outskirts of Rochdale, also Middelton and Royton near Oldham. The dog was seen by someone who knows him who had to turn round at the next motorway junction and come back but still managed to get quite close. He was caked in mud from the boggy fields and was not wearing his collar. Please if you live in these areas can you print off his poster and keep your eyes out for him, also let friends and family in these areas know of him. If you catch him, please get him to a vets, he is microchipped. There is a substantial reward for Ted's return, and after 8 weeks we are desperate for him to come home. But it gives us hope he is still out there. Many thanks, Georgina Cape

Than ks for sending that through Chris. I had to look twice, but Ted has got white, just on the front half of his front paws. We have had a local lead through yesterday though, and a chap at a works locally thinks he may have seen him or a very similar looking dog, so fingers crossed. I appreciate your help. I wish our local council (and dog warden service) could be as good as some of the others though - it is a second rate service in this area. best wishes, Georgina
