MICHROCHIPPING....HOW LONG DOES A CHIP LAST?

RATHER WORRYING.... my 2 cocker spaniels aged 15 and 14 have just had to have new microchips as the "old" ones were Not detected using 3 scanners!!! Very worrying as my older cocker is now deaf and blind. PLEASE CHECK YOUR DOGS Microchips AT LEAST EVERY 6 MONTHS, especially as they get older!

i couldnt agree more they need to be checked , and very scarey that the original chip numbers you have for your dogs are not registered with petlog or identichip, that is so worring
