The aim of the Vets Get Scanning appeal is to get all Vets, or their receptionists, to scan all dogs on their books and for Vets to adopt a practice policy where all dogs are routinely scanned on their first visit.

By starting Vets Get Scanning we feel this is a positive step to help the many people still looking for their microchipped stolen dogs. We need your help:

Please send or take the Vets letter, which you can download from this web site, to your vets and make sure you get a reply from them. Please add your name and address to the top of the letter.

Please add your support to our online petition, which we will present to The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Please ask your local pet shop or dog groomers if they could advertise The Vets Get Scanning Appeal. Either pass their details to us, or ask them to contact us and we will then add them to our supporters list.

This is the latest picture of Debbie and her Dad with the loveable Gizmo and Widget. I would like to ask ALL members to please contribute towards Debbies appeal. VETS GET SCANNING is a site that needs all our help and support and will benafit all our missing dogs. PLEASE LOG INTO www.vetsgetscanning.co.uk

If all vets scanned EVERY DOG that came into the surgery...... then Alfie would be home now!!!

Lovely Photo of Debbie and her Father. It is good to see Widget & Gizmo looking so well, i hope they are over their ordeal from last year.

As Justine has said Vets Get Scanning needs our help and support, we all owe it to our Dogs to get them microchipped and in the unfortunate event they they go missing either through getting loose or stolen at least we would have peace of mind that vets would have to scan every dog that goes into the surgery will have to be scanned.

Please help by promoting www.vetsgetscanning.co.uk

I am rather pleased with myself today as I have over 11 full pages of signatures just by going out and talking to people. I have also got meetings with 3 vets next week who are prepared to talk to me about having a proper display up in the waiting rooms. Please Everybody, get involved in this appeal as we will all benefit from the results. Justine
