just had word from a new phycic, she thinks that "Alfie has been sold on and is in Sussex. The people that stole him cannot return him for the reward (i never mentioned reward!) as they dont have him. The clairvoyant mentions that i have also lost another dog, simular, well not many people know this, but i adopted a yorkie some time ago who was also called Alfie, so I had 2 Alfies, big Alfie died 3 years ago. Alfie has been to a vet for healing. The people that have him are very attached to him and I will have a problem getting him back, although this will not stop me trying"
I will be looking into this and pay a visit to Sussex tom.

I have been in contact with many clairvoyants over the years but still have no clue as to where Alfie is. I believe that Alfie has been well cared for over the past 10 years and I can no longer hope to have him home. However I would dearly love to know "WHY" he was stolen from me and where his journey has taken him. My name is Justine, my number is 07776331431 if ANYBODY has any information that can help me to fill in much needed gaps. Thankyou

Maybe we are looking for an inland one then, I just assumed it was a  sea boat. I don't know if they are all registered or not. Maybe there's no difference, I'm not sure.

If we are looking for an inland boat, then how do we explain the comings and goings of this boat. Do inland boats cross the channel? Justine

Forgive my ignorance here, but are we talking about barges, house boats etc? Justine

The name is spelled two different ways; as one word (LaBarge) and as two ... 4955 St. Mary SW p wh b. St. Louis, MO, 1855. Capt Joe La Barge piloted her up ...

Narrowboats or barges generally use canals, although a few have crossed the channel. Cruisers mostly use rivers and many are capable of a channel crossing and more. Any boats that are used on British waterways (canals or rivers) have to be licenced. I'm not sure if foreign boats using our waterways are included though.

It would be a good idea to get posters out to Chandlers in and around the area as this is where boat people get most of their equipment and spares. Also yacht clubs and boat clubs, marinas etc. Boat people are normally a very friendly bunch and get to know each other well.

I hope this is the lead we've all been waiting for and Alfie will be back home soon.

Thank you ever so much for putting this on site for Alfie. my day has been very upsetting, I took my dogs back to the place that Alfie was stolen from 3 years ago today at the exact same time that we were there 3 years ago. I just stayed there all afternoon and cried my heart out. Justine
