We can only assume Bullet chased a squirrel as that is what he had been doing. I wasn't with him, John didn't actually see what he chased. I walked him everyday and he never chased a rabbit or a fox that I know of just squirrels. And yes as you say squirrels go up the trees, Bullet would then bark from the bottom and then come when called. It is so strange but we have covered all that area again and again and nothing. For someone to have been walking up there at that precise time and caught him would also be strange as Bullets natural walking pace is so quick that if someone caught him then they would have had to have had a lead on them and surely a doggie person wouldn't be putting us through this? Bullet is a baby but I think he has a good recall and I don't think he would have just followed someone.

Possible sighting of Bullet in Rainham...   crossposted..."The dog she saw was being walked on Monday at 3pm @ Sharps Green off the Lower Road, Rainham. Wendy thinks the lady must be local as she said it would be an unusual place to have been walking. She spoke to the lady and the lady said she had just picked the dog up from a Rescue centre that morning. Wendy was out riding and she didn't read the article in Horsemart until after seeing this lady. Wendy has Merle Border Collies herself so she knows the breed and knew that this dog was not a pure collie, she said it looked young and was nervous of the traffic. One thing she didn't notice was whether the dog was a dog or a bitch" Please look out for him Chrisx

Hi

Just wanted to update you all to say that we are still looking for our precious baby boy. Its been nearly 4 months now and not a day goes by where we don't think of him. He will be a year old in early October. We still haven't had any confirmed sightings of him. We have continued to poster the areas around here, as well as Rainham (where he may have been sighted).  A friend of ours had a picture of Bullet on their mobile phone which only came to light a little while ago. It is so much more up to date than the original one we had. If you would be kind enough to update his details I could email it to you?
Chris, I was wondering where you had disappeared too! I am glad to see that you are still out there helping to look for our dear pets. Keep up the good work, you were a great help to us in the early days x
