Hello!
« on: July 11, 2007, 07:48:25 PM »

Hi, My name is Nicola, 25 from Medway in Kent. I have 1 dog, a patterdale terrier called Harvey. I am not sure how old he is, I rescued him 5 years ago and the vet was unsure, thought he was around 3 so he should be 8ish now!
I saw this website whilst looking for any volunteer postions working with dogs and read some of your comments and you all sound lovely!! I can't upload photos at the moment but as soon as I can I will post some. Let me know if anyone needs help posting 'dog lost' posters in this area, am more than happy to help! Also have a few hours Saturday and sunday to give if anyone wants them....would love to foster but not sure how Harvey would take to it, is there a way to 'test' and see if he would be happy with it?  Smiley

Hello Nicola (Nippy) Welcome to Alfies Lost Terriers.

It is great to have you on site and your offer of help is very much appreciated, the more eyes we have out there looking for the dogs the better.

We look forward to seeing some photos, if you have trouble uploading them on to the site then please let us know and we will let you know how to do it.

I would also like to foster but i have 2 dogs myself who would not like another in the house at the moment.

Welcome , we hope you enjoy the site and feel free to post any interesting ,humourous ,sad or helpful  information, etc. Please look out for dogs that are missing in your area and you can help by printing off the posters and putting them around for the owners, would be nice for harvey to have a companion Cheesy so please consider a rescue doggie , I am am sure he would like a friend  :)If he gets on with other dogs then I am sure he would accept another, ,,,,,,

Nippy, there is no test that is available as such. What you need to do is take in a little dog that needs a kind loving home. introduce them and take it from there. Justine.
