I have just spoken to Ellie's mum and advised her to go door to door in the area that Ellie was last seen with small posters of Ellie and to also contact neighbourhood watch. I am just so sure that Ellie will get home soon. Thinking of you Ellie. Justine

Hope this is a good sign. What about giving a poster to the postman in the area. Chris

My postman offered to put a poster up in the sorting office.
I also gnabbed a milkman, who was more than willing to display a poster.

You might have seen from a previous posting, the local council tip.
A lot of people visit with their rubbish, and their recycling.

Fingers crossed that Ellie is back home soon.

Since Jasper has been possibly sighted near home, I have put a little cardboard box outside the front door, with his blanket, a t-shirt of mine, and some treats.

I'd hate him to come home when I was out, and not feel welcome.

Hope you get more positive sightings.

Attached is my amended poster. It might be worth a try. Smiley

Hi Sue, if you click on the attachment, will say "open" or save this attachment.  If you click on "open" it should open in one of your programmes.  Gina xxx

Sue, could you get some leaflets printed and ask the newsagent to put in into all free newspapers? The owner of the Labrador I'm helping in the search for (no sighting since mid Dec) did this and has had 3 new sightings since. Good luck with your search. Chris

I haven't thought about asking the newsagents to do this, what a great idea, I'll speak to them tomorrow.  Thanks for suggesting that.  I'll let you know the outcome

Do you know of anyone else with a Shar pei missing. Just looked in my local paper and in the 'strays picked up' ad is a male shar pei (or sharplanine as it said in the paper!!). Got all excited 'til I saw it was male. Come to think of it, rescues have been known to get the sex wrong  Shocked so here's the number if you want to check. 01562 822485 they're in Worcestershire. Chris ps there aren't any yorkies I'm afraid

Quick update for you.  My mum and dad went to Tivolli Park the other day which is where the park attendant called us from who thought he saw Ellie.  They showed some people her photo and they are certain that they have seen her there with a lad of about 15.  Tomorrow me and my husband Gary are going there and we are going to knock on every single door to see if anyone knows where she is.  I can't do it today as Gary is at work and my son is not yet 5 years old so I can't take him with me because you never know who will answer the door.  I hope I'll have some good news to tell you soon, I'm trying not to get my hopes up though.  Sue

Best of luck for tomorroe Sue.
I've just come back from putting 150+ posters through letter boxes,
and the area where the phonebox is.

Not the time to discover my 8 year old doesn't like furry letterboxes  Smiley Smiley

Go to the park, and bring Ellie home tomorrow.
I''m sure Toby would like the company in re-united

Fingers crossed
