Please read this message sent to us by the owners of William

When William went missing on the 23rd April last year I contacted the police and he is logged at Perranporth Police Station. All the dog wardens of the Cornwall Councils have all been contacted immediately that William went missing. I have with others had him on West Country TV. William is insured with Pet Plan and registered with Pet Safe. Unfortunately William did not have his collar on when he escaped and he is not chipped.
We believe that someone somewhere has got him and are not coming forward to return him to us.
I have spent hundreds of pounds in advertising and travelling to places where people have seen a collie dog. When I arrive at these places there is no dog to be seen or it has not been William. I am still putting up posters but nothing is happening.

Recently at Perran Sands Holiday Park as you enter the park from the main road there is a dog walk area which is a very large area. On the gate I have had posters all last year as there are a lot of people that use this area.
At Easter holidays this year over a period of about 10 days I have had to replace the poster of William which was on the gate 3 times. The poster has not been blown off but has been removed by someone and this leads me to believe that maybe someone has come down on holiday who has William and does not want him to be discovered. So he could be anywhere in the country.

We have no intention of pressing charges against anybody who might have him, all We ask is that whoever has him returns him to us. If any persons have any information as to the whereabouts of Willam they can contact me in the strictest confidence on 01209 890966 or email josephperran@aol.com All we want is to have William reunited with us.

Many thanks for your caring attention and putting William on your website.

PLEASE HELP US TO FIND WILLIAM

I'm so sorry to hear about William and hope he will soon be home with you. Are there any shops nearby who will display your posters on the inside of the windows where they can't be removed? What about asking the site owners if you can put posters through the letterboxes of all the holiday homes and in their public areas? Many people do go to the same place year after year and it looks possible that the person who took William could be one of these. There may be others who remember. Could you hand posters to kiosk owners, beach attendants etc? I suppose the people who have him only come there at Easter as the posters have stayed up the rest of the year so you also need a much wider audience. You could try advertising (or get them to do a story) in the dog magazines or maybe a veterinary journal. Chris

Have you also tried travellers sites? What about contacting a psychic? Jo x
