I found i had been banned today from dog lost .Yet another victim because i am on other sites . This is very childish and extremely silly as they have lost some very valuable helpers who worked hard for them and this is how those people are treated . Still their loss

Sadly DL are a very insular site who appear to put their own interests above their owners of lost dogs, We are a growing band of ex doglost helpers who value our members and respect our owners right to advertise their missing dogs  however they choose. To continue to ban DL helpers because of their interests elsewhere is short sighted and inappropriate. Doglost is an excellent site helping to reunite dogs and owners but will not win the respect of others if they continue to ban volunteers who have put time and money into helping their site. i agree with you as well chris. i had to ring to find out why i was banned from doglost and i was told it was because i mentioned this site on their site, where does it say that volunteers cannot mention other sites?

I have just found out why i have been banned from dog lost. For sending one lousy pm to purdy's owner telling him that the poster of purdy was now on here .Talk about pathetic reasoning . This is playground behaviour and i am fortunately adult enough not to be playing games .After all isnt the main aim of all this to reunite dogs with owners not lose helpers left right and centre because they choose the right to help as many sites as possible .

PMs ( private messages) are just that..so one has to ask how they knew Huh One also has to ask  Huh , what is so bad about that to justify banning a volunteer! It is lame excuses  as with myself and many others . Free speech and choice on Alfies!!

well, well, well  what can I say that has not already been said! Jenni I am sorry that they have banned you, I just hope that like me, that they do remove dear Mikka from dl. Because they removed ALL THREADS TO MY ALFIE WHO IS STILL VERY MUCH MISSING........ and that my friend is unforgivable beyond words. We on this site not only encourage cross posting, we actually cross post on behalf of the owners and their dogs. As for pm's, I would like to assure all our members that pm's are private messages and we respect this, we would never dream of looking into a members pm. Justine

I often read the site but it has been ages since I last posted, however I am amazed to read that doglost is proffessional, where do they get the money to pay?   They are so proffessional that they ditch their really good helpers. Justine you should get those helpers on here as from experience of their help I know how helpful  they are. When my dog went missing they were so helpful and kind and we only got her back because of their help. This was put on our site some time ago Jenni, so you see, this has been going on for sometime. Jenni you are very welcome to be part of our team and it is me that should be thanking you. We welcome people on alfies..... and we are a damned good team. Justine
