Amber would like to say a huge thank you to ChrisK9 for the most generous donation that she has recieved.
She has not been too good today as she had to stay at the vets all day for her first big blood tests. She had to go under again & was even more grumpier than usual (she even tasted the work experience lad  Shocked ), but Matthew is pleased with her progress & we should get her results early next week.
Once again than you so much & we will be adding you to Ambers Angels page if that is ok?

I am on the phone with Chris,k9 at the moment as she is on a tea break from work. Not only does chris work endlessly on our site during the day, she also works a night shift at a local nursing home...... this is determination!!!

Chris would like to say the following  " Amber you are welcome, I hope that this will help."  Chris K9

I would like to tell everyone our good news that we had from Matthew last night. He called & said that he was very pleased with her progress. There has been no change (which is good apparently) so she stays on the same dosage for another 7 weeks & then will have another lot of bloods taken. If the results to these are as good as they have been so far I will be able to get her meds on line (thus saving a bit more) & I have put a few pics of her to let you all see how her hair is growing. Matthew was very pleased with that too.
Here is Amber & her long(er) hair.

We are getting there.

Everyone
Just a quick update on Ambers progress & to tell you about a few things that have happened on the forum.
We have now (well another member has for me) set up Ambers Arms, which is a section of the forum that will be open to everyone until the 1st of December. If it is popular I will then ask if you would be willing to pay an annual (one off payment per year) fee of £5.00 to stay a privalidged member. Here there is a live chat link & also Amber has a 'Virtual Pub' in there. You can also post anything that you feel you could not post on the forum. Once it becomes a 'private' members lounge it will only be open to 'Over 18's sorry.
Also Faye one of our members has made some beautiful magnets for Ambers Appeal. They can be found if you follow this link.

email from yorkie girl....
Amber was taken very ill today & had to have an emergency operation. She is still at Quarrington Vets tonight. Although she came through her operation the next 48hrs will be crucial.
Could you all please read the next message & light a candle for Amber.
Thank you

CK & I (Bonzocats) have started a burning candle group let's see if we can keep the group going until Amber is up and about again.
http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=amb
Just click on an unlit candle and let's see the whole page lit.
It doesn't cost anything but it is a very restful place.

Thank you all so much for the kind words & thoughts. The last 24hrs have been somewhat traumatic to say the least, but Amber is like a cat with 9 lives & I am pleased to announce that she came round so well from her operation which is all thanks to the wonderful vets & all the staff that strived to get our little girl through, she even had another vet stay with her at the surgery all night & he called us late evening & even txt her progress at 11.15pm. OH went to vist her this morning & as she was just sooooo pleased to see her daddy they have let her come home. She is still very weak, but has lots of tablets & potions & above all TLC.
Amber would just like to say the following.......

TO EVERYONE
