ok I have spoken to the nice man from the local sign company (www.bigsignco.com) and it will cost approxmately £25 for the letters and £15/hour to adhere them so we are looking at around say £40-50 mark. I may need to have whats already on the back removed and redone so it may be alittle more. They need 3 working days to get the letters printed out so its a short turn around really. I was going to email him with the web page address of alfies to go on and short statement of simply 'IS YOUR DOG STOLEN/MISSING?' or 'STOLEN/MISSING DOGS'
Im happy to proceed with this and fund it myself as my contribution to alfies and all the dogs once I get the go ahead from you lot!

Hope you are feeling better Justine and on the path to recovery. Let me know re- the wording. It is something that I want to do as my contribution I am concious of the fact that I dont give asmuch time as other people in order to assist with re uniting etc so this is my way - in a selfish way to make me feel better!! The costs up here may vary quite a bit as to what you would pay a company down there -can I suggest that you look in your local yellow pages under 'signs' to locate you local company? I will certainly ask 'my man' when I speak to him when I tell him the wording

Justine, you can buy clear self adhesive sheets to print on from somewhere like PC World. You could then blow up the car sticker and put one on each side of the car and the back. They adhere to any smooth surface but are not as hard to remove as lettering if you decide to change your car. I think I paid £5.99 for a pack of 6 A4 sheets. The are also magnetic sheets you can print on too. Chris

Karen, once again a big thankyou for your kind offer. But you really do not have to feel guilty about anything, we do know that members have busy lives etc and the fact that your beloved Poppy & Inky are still missing is a very stressful time. You really do more than enough and we really do appreciate everything that you do.

where abouts in the country are you karen?i also travel around to various horse shows up and down the country.i always carry loads of posters in my lorry and leave piles of them in the secretaries tents!!!!!let me know how you word it and i can do the same

Lily Im from east yorkshire. Well folks life is rather manic at the moment as W day approaches. The lorry goes in to have bits and pieces done at the end of this week for the duration I am away (approx 3 weeks) and Im going to get the nice man to do the stickers so hopefully when I return to collect it it will all be done. I will get a photo once its back home but I shall not be posting until after the beginning of next week until the first week in Oct.
