Guinness (black) and Scooter (apricot) are 14 year old mini poodle brothers. They are being cared for in an Oldies Club foster home in Newport, South Wales.
Guiness and Scooter are a very sweet, lovable pair who act a lot younger than their years! They are definitely people dogs. They both love to be cuddled and they get really excited when you come home - they dance around and bark for attention.
They love to go out and they get very excited when they see their leads. Their recall is good but Scooter does get carried away in his own little world when having a sniff around in the grass so he sometimes forgets to keep up with you. You therefore have to keep an eye on him.
Like typical siblings they have a love hate relationship and do have the occasional squabble. But they love to run around and play together. They also follow one another around and don’t like being apart.
Guinness is the stronger character of the two and can sometimes be a bit of a bully but Scooter doesn’t seem to mind and ignores him most of the time.
They are child and dog friendly but their cat status is unknown at present. They are fine to be left for 3 to 4 hours and are not destructive. They travel well and are good on and off lead.
Guiness and Scooter are both vaccinated, neutered, wormed, frontlined and microchipped. Guinness has also had 3 teeth removed and a scale and polish.
Guiness and Scooter are in an Oldies Club foster home in Newport, South Wales.
These two sweeties have recently been apart from each other and seem to do quite well, provided they have another dog for company. Oldies Club would therefore consider rehoming them separately.
Guiness enjoys quite an active household, but Scooter prefers a little peace and quiet in his life. They do both need another dog for company though.

They can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet them

It looks like luck as changed for these two. Guiness will be going to his new forever home soon and there is someone very interested in Scooter
