ART, my god what next!!Starving dog UPDATE>
« on: March 15, 2008, 08:25:08 PM »

www.alfieslostdogs.com supports this campaign

an artist from Costa Rica named Guillermo Habacuc Vargas, exhibited this starving dog as a work of art. And there the poor dog died. He did not want anyone to give him food or water.
I looked at the blog and you tube videos  www.ea6gk.org
Please BE WARNED!! This was terrible
, an 'artist' called Guillermo Vargas Habacuc caught a stray dog on the street, tied it up on a short leash to the wall of an art gallery and left it there to die slowly of hunger and thirst. Over the next few days, the artist himself and visitors to the gallery watched impassively as this happened. Now the prestigious Central American Biennial of Art has decided that this was art and has asked Vargas Habacuc to repeat his actions in the Biennial of 2008.  Please sign the petition
http://www.petitiononline.com/13031953/
This is the address of the gallery in Nicaragua, where Vargas did kill the dog. You can leave a comment!!!

that is just so awful, poor dog I just hope that the "Artist" suffers the same treatment if not worse. How did the gallery allow this cruelty? What is this gallery, do we know? We should bloodywell report them. I am absolutely furious, we cant let this pass. OPINIONS PLEASE . Justine  http://www.PetitionOnline.com/13031953/

remember natividad
natividad is the spanish word for "birth". it was the name of the poor dog starved in public in the name of "art". The "artist" was not only not punished, but won also the first prize and was chosen a representative of the entire country!

Authentic, first hand, non-commercial, no spam boycott informations. No photos of the cruel "exhibition" are added here for those who cannot stand to see them.
100% in contact with Mr.Jaime Sancho, who started the petition.

THE PETITION ITSELF CAN BE FOUND HERE - PLEASE SIGN :-)  http://www.PetitionOnline.com/13031953/

ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE PETITION TEXT [BABELFISH]

PLEASE READ! ABOUT THE PETITION FORM [IF YOU DON'T SPEAK SPANISH]

NO, THIS IS NOT AN "URBAN LEGEND" - MR.SANCHO IS IN TELEPHONE CONTACT WITH REAL WITNESSES FROM COSTA RICA! CRUELTY HAPPENS, THIS IS NOT A BAD DREAM AND NOT A "HOAX", BUT HERE YOU CAN DO SOMETHING TO STOP IT - PLEASE SIGN THE BOYCOTT :-)

After sending an email to jaime sancho I have received this reply.

Due to the large number of mails received everyday, it has become
impossible for me to answer each one. My apologies if your e-mail
doesn't get a personal answer. Many of the questions asked are already
answered in my blog www.ea6gk.org

Apparently an artist from Costa Rica named Guillermo Habacuc Vargas, exhibited this starving dog as a work of art. And there the poor dog died. He did not want anyone to give him food or water.
This artist is sick. This apparent human needs to be tied up and starved to death like this poor dog. He needs to be put in a room with animal lovers. What is happening in this world today.

I have signed the petition. I must admit I find this so hard to believe, why did nobody help the poor dog???  I'm sure that none of us would have walked by!!!!

I would like to forward the petition to my friend, but it needs the article attatched to make any sense. can anybody tell me how to do this?
