Kent police need help with fostering
« on: April 19, 2008, 01:00:32 PM »

From dogworld newspaper

KENT Police are looking for knowledgeable people to help rear German Shepherd puppies who will be trained to work with the force.
The puppies will stay in their foster homes from the age of eight weeks until they are eight months old.
Applicants must have a secure garden, be reasonably fit and be able to attend training sessions at Stockbury near Sittingbourne.
Successful applicants will be given all the necessary equipment, and all food and vet bills will be covered by the force.
For more information phone 07980 770597.

I have actually done this on more than one occasion over my many years in dogdom!  It's a great thing to do but you have to accept the fact that this beautiful furbabe IS not YOURS because if you don't it's heartbreaking when you have to let him go.

Believe me if I had time I'd still be doing this.
