Labrador cross - dog (neutered)
Completely black. Mid-long hair coat. Small dog – approx 24 inches tall. 5 years old. Wearing a collar. Microchipped with contact information.
Owner writes:He is a very friendly dog. He is microchipped but the lady who caught him gave him away to a young boy whose family were moving to Blackpool. She made no contact with the Dog Warden or local Vets. She has contacted owners to give them this information after someone spotted their flyers and informed them. He has a sister dog who is pining badly for him.
Given away by the lady who found him to a family moving to Blackpool from Cwmbran, South Wales
Went missing on 1st March Llantarnam area of Cwmbran, South Wales

Thank you for your email, unfortunately we have not heard anything as yet, which is quite demoralising. someone advised us that we could contact the people who microchip animals so if he is scanned he can be flagged as a missing dog, although i'm not too sure if this is true, have you heard of this?

i have attached a photo of Jake as i was unable to upload it to your site, don't worry if it isnot suitable for use. i just thought it would be worth a shot.
