Hello,

I am so sorry to hear about all the trouble your poor little dog has gone through.

Mark: sue is absolutely right, the op unfortunately does not prevent perfectly recurrence though it becomes a lot less likely.

Best regards,

julien

Thanks Julien. I'm really hoping that this puts an end to it for her. I know some other dogs go through worse things but I feel she has been through so much in the last 6 months with her ears.

Tess had her op done yesterday. It should have been Tuesday but they phoned to say it had to be postponed due to lack of kennel space (emergencies I presume) She is fine but hates her lampshade.

Well, Tess had her stitches out yesterday. She is fine. The drain on the inside of the ear is still healing and has scabbed over. We met royalty yesterday. Princess Michael of Kent arrived for a visit and Anthony asked if he could take a picture of her. I was at the pharmacy when Ant came back with a man who said that she was going to come and see me and we could take a photo. Anyway, they called us into a clinic and she made a big fuss of Tess and asked me what was wrong, then asked the vet to take a couple of piccys for me. The official photographer was snapping away too.
Here are the piccys.

Wow Tess sure is special. What an honour to meet royalty, I bet Anthony enjoyed the experience too. Glad to hear Tess's ears are healing well.

Thanks Terezza. I really hope this puts an end to it. She has gone through so much this year with her ears.

Hi Sue, I hope that that the operation has worked this time, and that Tess gets better soon. I used to have some dogs that kept on getting ear infections, but then a vet told me that if I clean their ears with diluted which hazel, this drastically reduces the risk of infection. Julian if you read this, could that help with Tess's condition and prevent it happening again? And also prevent it from happening to my dogs too?  ???
